Visitors are very important to your well-being and we appreciate their care and support. We ask that visitors be considerate of your privacy and time needed to rest, as well as your roommate's. Please limit your visitors according to the unit specific guidelines and let them know when you need more rest.
Visitors are asked to leave the room during doctors' rounds and upon request of the nurse. Bringing food into the hospital is discouraged. We do not have the means to store food from outside sources.
Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult and must not be left unattended. Visiting children under 12 are restricted from entering ICU/PCU, Emergency Department, Women's Center, and Surgical Services areas.
Please check with the nurses' station for special hours and other visitor restrictions.
Hours
ICU, PCU, and General Medical Floor: 9 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Women's Center: 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. - 7 p.m.
If visiting a patient in isolation in any unit please check with the nurse's station before entering the room.
Wi-Fi
AllianceHealth Durant offers free wireless internet access for our patients and visitors. Wireless access points are located throughout the hospital. Patients and visitors can access the wireless internet by following a few simple steps. Instructions are available at the switchboard and information desk.
